Today Bernie’s crew had to help patch up the cockpit communications console on the Penitent Woman. The initial diagnosis was wrong but once they figured it out the repairs took half the expected time. The ship’s owner, Nils Mandek, is a bit of a local “Robin Hood” in the sector so the repair grunts were proud of their work. Nils tried to spin me a tale of a new unknown weapons tech in the sector but it sounds like a ghost story to me.
